The trip of the week : Jurassic Park

I'm gonna try to tell you every week about on my trip.. this week.. Jurassic Park, I had a such a nice week there. We arrived with an helicopter on Isla Nublar. We took the truck to pass the electrical barrier and then we had an hour drive to main entrance (the picture above). I really wanted to go out to make a picture front of it, I dont like it a lot, but I show it to you anyway.

So as you can see I may seem a little bit wet.. well... the weather was not really beautiful unfortunately ! We arrived to the principal building, and we went to have lunch. I ate a xetarosaurus hamburger, which was a meet that I never had before. It tasted pretty good ! For the dessert a basic stuff : Vanilla frappucino at the starbucks of the park. Free song of the day : John Williams, Main theme. One of the problem of Isla Nublar.. there is no internet ! So i wanted to broadcast from there, but I couldnt ! A few years ago they had some accident that happend with the dinosaur, now they dont want to show anymore what's going on today so they removed the internet connection to be sure that no one can broadcast from there. I think it's sad. Every park has accident happening all the time, by exemple in the ride of Epcot Center at Disney Orlando Florida, more than 10 people died in 10 years. Yes yes I swear ! After the lunch, we went to see a small video of what the park was suppose to be, and then we went to see the laboratory where they re-create animals ! Then... an other video of all the safety instructions ! Today Jurassic park is more wild than secure, it's like a hunting party if you want because you must be prepared to defend yourself in case of problem :) But it was awesome. Here you can see the truck we had during all our trip, there is a lot of protections on it and you have an external seat if you want to admire from outside ! It was really cool ! I was seating there just a few time though because of the weather ! Just behind a place called "the forest of the linlapagos", which are small really funny animals.

The night was almost there and was time to go to sleep, we stopped to the E.V that was just next to the Tyrannosaur enclosure ! I was pretty scared in the begin but Ed, our guide told me that the Tyrannosaur was sleeping because he ate too much the last days. Ed is a really good guide ! He knows everything about everything on this Island. Was really intersting to speak with him and to learn about the origin of the Island, how they construct the park and things like this.

The day after we took the truck back and keep going on the Island, I can't really speak about the dinausors because i am not really allowed to. I signed a confidentiality contract that restrict me a lot in my story. The only thing i can tell you its about the attack that happend...

We were driving slowly in the middle of the jungle when suddendly, out of nowhere, a dinoausor attacked us from the left, hopefully i was with my camera on making funny picture of me and I had the reflex to turn quick to make a picture ! But don't worry ! We didnt had problems due to this attack, Ed simply accelerate and the dinosaur first tried to follow the truck but he couldnt run really fast, so he stopped and went away. Thats unfortunately all I can tell you of this trip. I hope you enjoyed the story though.
